Mental Health Reviews (MHR) welcomes review articles on
topics of current clinical interest in the fields of Psychiatry and
Psychology. Papers presented in conferences or other academic
programmes may be submitted - one major aim of MHR is to help increase
the visibility of these articles. Articles previously published in
print media can also submitted, if the author owns the copyright. MHR does
not accept review articles sponsored by pharmaceutical firms. The advantages
of publishing in MHR and detailed instructions to authors are outlined
below.

Instructions for authors

Articles should be written in clear, concise English. |
 |
The articles should reflect the state-of-the-art of the
area being reviewed. Emphasis upon a particular hypothesis or point of view
or upon the personal opinions or interpretation of the writer is
appropriate, provided that this focus is clearly indicated in the paper. |

The title page should carry a concise and informative
title; names of the authors, names and addresses of Institutions, and the
name, address and e-mail address of the correspondence author. Each author
must have participated in the writing of the manuscript, and have seen and
approved the submitted version. Authors should disclose any affiliation with
any organization with a financial interest, direct or indirect, in the
subject matter or materials discussed in the manuscript. |

The articles, prepared in Microsoft Word, should be sent
as attachment to with "article for MHR" in subject line. Receipt of a
manuscript will be notified by e-mail; and the editor may be contacted if
you have not heard from us within a week of submitting your manuscript. |

The articles
must contain references. Papers presented in academic programmes or
previously published in print media may be submitted with the reference
system in which they were originally prepared. Articles written
exclusively for MHR may use the
Harvard system of referencing. |

Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed for scientific
accuracy, clarity, and balance of perspective; and may be edited,
without altering the meaning, to improve clarity and understanding. |
